In a world of complicated health jargon we find that Senior home care services and its true meaning sometimes gets lost. The reality is, it is a general term that means different things based on the needs of your loved one.

As seniors age, they deal with everyday challenges like the chores of grocery shopping, staying up with hygiene and general mobility. For this you probably need homemaker services, companion services, or personal care services. This may be on a part-time or full-time basis.

As time goes by, it would not be uncommon for more serious symptoms of Alzheimer’s or Dementia to begin to appear. Starting as simple lapses in memory, the disease will progress and affect quality of life.

Most families we consult with find that they are ill equipped to be the sole caregiver as their loved one needs more advanced care and will need some level of assistance.
